Konnakol is the most profound rhythmic language in the world.

Over centuries, musicians in India have created a highly developed, scientifically structured system that allows for a profound understanding of rhythm – in all its dimensions.

This language has been with me for over twenty years – and I am still an enthusiastic student, teacher and passionate supporter of this system.

As a professional musician, I can say: Neither the Western musical notation system nor any other rhythmic language in the world comes even close to the precision and depth of the Carnatic rhythm system.

I am grateful to have been able to learn from some of the greatest masters of this art. Now the time has come to pass on some of this centuries-old rhythmic knowledge.

About me

I'm Florian – a percussionist, handpan artist, and musician with 20 years of stage experience. After studying music and performing internationally, I was Principal Percussionist at the Operettenhaus Hamburg from 2019 to 2024.

After many years of performing music at the highest professional level, primarily as a service, I am now returning to its roots – and to its true meaning:

Creativity. Self-knowledge through sound. Music as a spiritual path and a gateway to a higher power that connects us all.
